1. What is the SunSmart Program?

The SunSmart Program is designed to protect children from skin cancer. It supports Childcare Services, Out of School Hours Care services and primary schools across NSW to develop and implement a best-practice sun protection policy. The simple fact is a “no hat, play in the shade” policy is really the minimum safety standard and just the start to encouraging sun-safe behaviours.

2. Is there a cost to be involved in the SunSmart program?

The program is free, and you will be provided with all the signage, posters and curriculum resources, and support from our SunSmart team. Being a member of the SunSmart Program is a great way to show students, families and the community that your school is committed to sun protection.
